Data Protection

Data Protection
The operators of this site take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with statutory data protection regulations as well as this privacy policy.
The use of our website is generally possible without providing personal data. In cases where personal data (such as name, address, or email addresses) is collected on our site, it is done on a voluntary basis wherever possible. This data will not be passed on to third parties without your explicit consent.
Please note that data transmission over the Internet (e.g., communication by email) can have security vulnerabilities. Complete protection of data from access by third parties is not possible.

Cookies
Our website uses what are known as cookies. Cookies help to make our service more user-friendly, efficient, and secure. Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser.
Most of the cookies we use are “session cookies,” which are automatically deleted at the end of your visit. Other cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them, allowing us to recognize your browser upon your next visit.
You can set your browser to inform you about the use of cookies, only allow them in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for specific cases or in general, and enable the automatic deletion of cookies when the browser is closed. Disabling cookies may limit the functionality of this website.

Server Log Files
The site provider automatically collects and stores information in what are known as server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These include:

  • Browser type and version

  • Operating system used

  • Referrer URL

  • Hostname of the accessing computer

  • Time of the server request

This data cannot be attributed to specific individuals. It is not merged with other data sources. We reserve the right to retrospectively check this data if we become aware of specific indications of unlawful use.

Contact Form
If you send us inquiries via the contact form, your details from the inquiry form, including the contact data you provided, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the request and in case of follow-up questions. This data will not be shared without your consent.
Data sent to us via contact inquiries will remain with us until you request deletion, revoke your consent to storage, or the purpose for storage ceases to apply (e.g., after processing your request). Mandatory legal provisions—especially retention periods—remain unaffected.

Inquiry by Email
If you contact us by email, your inquiry and any personal data contained in it (such as your name and query) will be stored and processed by us to handle your concern. This data will not be shared without your consent.
The processing of this data is based on Art. 6 Para. 1(b) GDPR if your request is related to the fulfillment of a contract or required for pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective handling of inquiries (Art. 6 Para. 1(f) GDPR) or on your consent (Art. 6 Para. 1(a) GDPR) if it was requested; consent can be withdrawn at any time.

SSL Encryption
For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as requests you send to us as the site operator, this site uses SSL encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the change in the browser address bar from “http://” to “https://” and by the lock icon in your browser’s address bar.
When SSL encryption is enabled, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

Right to Information, Deletion, Blocking
You have the right at any time to receive free information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipients, and the purpose of data processing, as well as a right to correct, block, or delete this data. You can contact us at any time at the address provided in the legal notice for this and other questions on the topic of personal data.

Legal Basis for Processing
Art. 6 Para. 1(a) GDPR serves as the legal basis for processing operations where we obtain consent for a specific processing purpose. If the processing of personal data is necessary to fulfill a contract to which the data subject is a party, such as course registrations, it is based on Art. 6 Para. 1(b) GDPR. The same applies to processing operations necessary for pre-contractual measures, such as inquiries about our courses.
If we are subject to a legal obligation requiring the processing of personal data, such as fulfilling tax obligations, processing is based on Art. 6 Para. 1(c) GDPR. Processing operations may also be based on Art. 6 Para. 1(f) GDPR, which applies to processing not covered by the above legal bases, if processing is necessary to protect a legitimate interest of ours or a third party, provided that the interests, fundamental rights, and freedoms of the data subject do not override these interests. The European legislator specifically acknowledged that a legitimate interest could exist if the data subject is a client of the controller (Recital 47, sentence 2 GDPR).

Duration of Storage for Personal Data
The criterion for the duration of the storage of personal data is the relevant statutory retention period. After the period expires, the respective data is routinely deleted if it is no longer necessary for contract fulfillment or contract initiation.
